Use a bitratecalucator to determine the bitrate you would need to put X minutes ontoa dvd and create Mpg files using those settings. Do i need to change format for shrink to identify it? if thats the problem, how do i do it?

Best Answer:
well for one, DVD shrink is way outdated and is no longer updated. you can get Clone DVD but it's not free. It will attempt to repair the DVD structure.

http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonedvd.html

you can also try http://www.cdburnerxp.se/download.php which is free

I use it. works really well

DVD Shrink just gets to some random percentage and throws up an error
